Family Profiles: General Information
I admit it: I am addicted to Sims 2! What I love most about this game is being able to create families and watch them grow, fall in love, attend university, advance in their careers, and start their own little families. I have created profiles for each member of my Sim families, grouped by family name (not by household).
A Sim may appear twice under two different family names due to marriage (unless he/she is an NPC Townie). He/she will be linked to the same profile, marked with an asterisk, and the "maiden" family name will appear in brackets. Some Sims have children but are either not married or not sharing a household. In this case, I will create a profile for both parents under one family name if the parents are living in the same house. If they are not, then the parent Sim who is not living with the Sim child will only have a profile if he/she is NOT an NPC Townie. In the case of hyphenating family names (ie. Lovegood-Cormier), this will only occur if a child was born to a Sim couple before they were married, and then shortly afterward the parents wed.
